Looking back on the November 5 Batimat conference
"The increase in insulation product certification as a result of the ACERMI Springboard Guidelines"

On November 5 this year at the Batimat construction fair, the non-profit organization Acermi looked back on the advances made possible by the introduction of its Springboard Guidelines in 2013.

These new standard guidelines enable the rapid recognition of insulation product thermal performance, faster recognition of innovative products and the provision of support for emerging industry sectors. A number of new product families have become eligible for Acermi certification since the introduction of the Springboard Guidelines: bulk cotton, perforated EPS, bulk wood fiber, polyester fiber, lightweight autoclaved cellular concrete, insulating sandwich panels and insulating formwork blocks.

As a result, a number of companies were able to present their feedback to a group of around fifty industry professionals.
